As a firm authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), we are committed to acting in accordance with the FCA principle to pay due regard to the interests of our customers and to treat them fairly. We fully support the FCA’s Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) initiative and aim to apply these principles throughout every stage of our relationship with our customers.
Our approach is designed to ensure transparency, clarity, and fairness, particularly within the context of Merchant Cash Advance funding and commercial finance introductions.
Who we are
MerchantCashAdvance.co.uk is a trading style of Choice Money Ltd, a UK-based commercial finance broker.
We are a credit broker, not a lender. We do not provide finance directly and do not enter into finance agreements with customers. Our role is to introduce eligible businesses to third-party finance providers offering Merchant Cash Advance solutions and related commercial funding, based on the information provided to us.
Our commitment to treating customers fairly
We are committed to ensuring that our customers are treated fairly at all times. In practice, this means that we will:
- Provide clear, accurate, and balanced information about our services and how we operate
- Explain the nature of Merchant Cash Advances and how they differ from traditional business loans
- Be transparent about our role as a broker and how we are remunerated
- Take reasonable steps to understand your business circumstances, objectives, and funding needs
- Introduce you only to finance providers that we reasonably believe may be suitable, based on the information available to us
- Inform you if we are unable to identify a funding option we consider appropriate
- Communicate in a way that is clear, fair, and not misleading
- Encourage you to ask questions and seek clarification before proceeding
- Provide access to our Complaints Procedure if you are dissatisfied with our service
We aim to ensure that our communications and processes allow you to make informed decisions based on your own business needs.
How we support informed decision-making
We recognise that Merchant Cash Advances and other forms of commercial finance may not be suitable for every business. For this reason, we focus on providing information rather than advice.
We do not provide independent financial advice or make recommendations. You are responsible for deciding whether a particular funding option is appropriate for your business, and you may wish to seek advice from an accountant or independent financial adviser before proceeding.
How you can help us
Treating customers fairly is a shared responsibility. To help us provide an appropriate and effective service, we ask that you:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about your business
- Tell us about your business income, outgoings, and trading performance
- Inform us of any known future changes that may affect your ability to meet repayments
- Let us know if there is anything you do not understand about our service or a proposed funding option
- Raise any concerns or questions as early as possible
- Provide feedback on how we can improve our service
Complaints and feedback
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, we encourage you to let us know as soon as possible. Details of how to make a complaint and how complaints are handled can be found on our Complaints Procedure page.
All complaints are handled fairly, promptly, and in line with FCA requirements.
Our ongoing commitment
We regularly review our processes, communications, and customer feedback to ensure that we continue to meet FCA expectations and maintain high standards of customer care. Treating Customers Fairly is embedded into how we operate and how we measure the quality of our service.
